Why History Matters
For me History is what unites the world and all that we learn about ourselves and others. The study of civilizations, past and present, helps to break down barriers that impact our perceptions of each other. It should never be just memorizing names, dates, and facts. What History should be is story-telling about the great and influential people of the past and the daring, influential  decisions and contributions that they made to enrich the history of the United States.
